Dr. Kenny Hodges

Manager of Special Education and Adult Transition Programs

Dr. Hodges believes he is successful when his students are successful! He understands that each student’s meaning of success is different and works tirelessly to ensure his students reach their individualized goals.

With over 12 years of experience working with students with severe and moderate physical, mental, and/or behavioral disabilities, Dr. Hodges has the expertise needed to help move your child forward.

His educational experience includes:

● Bachelor’s of Science, Business Administration, Florida Southern College, Class of 1994
● Master’s of Education, Elementary Education, Southeastern University, Class of 2008
● Doctorate of Education, Teacher Leadership with a Specialization in Special Education, Walden University, Class of 2015

Dr. Hodges is an accomplished educator by being named Teacher of the Year for Karen M. Siegel Academy in 2015 and being inducted into the Auburndale Senior High School’s Hall of Fame in 2018. He also serves on several committees for the Florida Department of Education for the development and on-going evaluation of the Florida Standards Alternate Assessment that is administered to students with severe disabilities each school year.
